How to re-scan the file to VirusTotal without having saved file to disk

1. In the link to the report, change "analysis" to "reanalyse"

Example:

I did not know you could do that. the next time I download a file and it has a VT report I will scan it again.

That is too helpful since my upload speed is only 30Kb/s. :)

When trying to send to VirusTotal file was already in their database, is generated only file checksum and VT is looking for a file with the generated checksum. If he is already in the database VT shows options: re-analysis , display a latest report. When the file isn't exist in the database, the file is sent :)
So this trick is useful only if you don't have the file on the hard disk.

That happens to all websites once in a while. It's back online anyway.
