Troubleshooting How to repair corrupted .mkv videos?

[Jogos]

Software to recover lost partitions (Mini Tool Power Data Recovery), restores all files but some of them are corrupt

"The format of this file is unsupported, file extension is invalid, or file is corrupt"

Have you tried to open the file in VLC player?

Not yet, but I download SMPlayer. The rest of the movies "undamaged" works without any other players

SMPlayer and VLC also do not open these files correctly

There's nothing you can do if Meteorite and MKVToolnix didn't help. File or a part of video stream was probably overwritten or lost in recovery procedure.

I'm sad to hear that, but nothing will do Fortunately I have not lost much, I will have to re-download these damaged videos

No solution then. Better to backup the next time
