How to take screenshot on Windows 7 ?

2. Start the application Paint.exe
3. Click "Paste"

You can use Snipping Tool included in Windows:

This is the way without a tool. I am using LightShot which is very useful

Any necessary steps will do, no changes at any Windows OS but for simple process just use print screen command in the keyboard (prnt scr) and paste with MS Paint.

I use Lightshot to do this.

1. Press PrtScr
2. Select the region
3. Click Upload
4. Click Open or Copy.

Copy copies the link to the screenshot. Open just opens the screenshot page.

Do you want a program to take screenshots, or do you want to take them manually? Because the easy way is just to hit the 'Prnt Scrn' button on the top right hand side of your keyboard.

You could do it with PrintScreen button on the keyboard or if you want an advanced program you could choose one of the alternatives here.
