Looks like HTC is heading for a barren Christmas sales period in Germany this year after dropping its appeal against a patent suit that was ruled on three years ago. IPCom, HTC's rival in the suit, said that it plans to enforce the injunction as soon as possible. Sorry kids, looks like there may not be any HTCs under the tree this year in Germany
