Hi

I have been having a lot of problems with my computer slowing me down in everything I do, I re-format it 3 times in the past 6 month and after I re-format is working good for few weeks and slowly goes back to the same problem again. Yesterday the AdwCleaner gave me the latest version and now is stops working. I feel that Google Crome is creating some of my problem. I am attaching here several images and the reports from FRST64 and I will appreciate any help I can get

I thank you in advance for your curtesy and support

Regards

Paul Baltas

I didn't look at all your attachments, but I see what you are saying about Chrome.
Chrome has very strong sync settings, by default, so even if you reinstall windows and reinstall Chrome, you will get all your old junky extensions and faulty settings back, as soon as you sign in to your Chrome identity.
What you need to do is restore Chrome to default settings. That will get rid of junky extensions etc. In addition, you could also create a new Chrome identity, because sometimes Chrome sync remembers too much stuff, so even if you deleted something, it might come back.

Then be very careful and choosy about installing new extensions.

Thank you for your response, I have done that several times restoring Chrome to default for including deleting cookies and password but did not help.

Hello,

Check Disk
  • Press the
    WindowsKey.png
on your keyboard. Type cmd and right click >> Run as Administrator.
  • Copy/Enter the command below and press Enter:
  • Code:
    chkdsk C: /r
  • You should get a message to schedule Check Disk at next system restart. Please type Y and press Enter.
  • All you should do now is to restart your PC and let the Check Disk process finish uninterrupted.
Check Disk report:
  • Press the
    WindowsKey.png
+ R on your keyboard at the same time. Type eventvwr and click OK.
  • In the left panel, expand Windows Logs and then click on Application.
  • Now, on the right side, click on Filter Current Log.
  • Under Event Sources, check only Wininit and click OK.
  • Now you'll be presented with one or multiple Wininit logs.
  • Click on an entry corresponding to the date and time of the disk check.
  • On the top main menu, click Action > Copy > Copy Details as Text.
  • Paste the contents into your next reply.
