Yesterday I downloaded the whole package of Auslogics, and installed it; it has some very useful programs, like for example Ad Aware.
And soon I noticed that I could not anymore access my internet service provider, and I was angry at my isp supplier, I thought that I had to approach the branch office of my isp operator, to seek explanation and get my connection back.
For more than over half a day, I could not get any work done which requires internet access.
So I got my documents of contract etc. with my isp supplier and got ready to leave home and proceed to the branch business office of the isp supplier.
At this point in time I decided to try Internet Explorer, this browser is also I don't know why but so very difficult to use, STILL it has a trouble-shooting routine when connectivity could not be effected - that is the only redeeming feature of this browser, for I use all the time Firefox.
My OS is Windows XP which is now obsolete but I don't want to start with a newer Windows OS: because it is so troublesome to get it installed and get to master it as to get routine service from it - and that is why I did not delete altogether the whole also trouble-plagued Internet Explorer, out of consideration for the Windows XP.
I was really relieved, it revealed to me that there was a file causing trouble to my internet connectivity, called by a name that starts with Novasoft... That's it, for I noticed when I was installing all the free programs of Auslogics, there was frequent mention of Novasoft this and Novasoft that.
I followed the instruction of Internet Explorer and saved and closed up all ongoing applications, and Internet Explorer fixed the trouble, really fixed the trouble, for after the computer restarted, THERE came forth the two monitor icon of active connection working.
Now, it was a long laborious task for me to get rid of all the overly loaded files of Auslogics, which included a very big zip Webcompanion file which took me hell to delete from my HD.
After I have gotten rid of all the Auslogics files whatever, there was still this Bing.com website opening up everytime I started Firefox, in addition all my Firefox roster of search engines were reduced to only five!!!!
Thanks a lot for this website, now when I have trouble I will always first come here.
