I forgot my password to pdf file. I tried to restore it through online services, but it did not help. Does it make sense to buy some software for password recovery to pdf?

If your document is only password protected, it should be easily cracked through online password removers. But if the file is thoroughly encrypted, you can only unlock the file by providing the correct password...

Well any tools online can manage to remove the password protected because of providing brute force attack to gain the possible accepted password combination.

However it is different if you are talking about CopySafe PDF reader which is more on copyright protection that you cannot crack the password.
