I Found a Keeper... AhnLab V3 365 Clinic IS Suite.

It took a while to create an account, but I finally got my hands on a 30 day trial of AhnLab V3 365 Clinic.

This is a AV+FW so I'm calling it an IS Suite.

It runs very fast on my PC... BUT what I really love about it is it's firewall. It allows you to choose "Ask Me", for your installed software, it allows the OS to work, but your installed software has to ask.

So I install it, then double click everything on my dock, one at a time, the firewall prompts me and asks "allow or deny"... I chose "show details", so everything that needs approval, shows me a detailed (who is it, and where is it located, and what is it related too).... VERY NICE.

Now I just have to figure out how to buy it with a visa card.

Thanks to the guys here who helped me figure out how to create an account....USE CHROME BROWSER....

So basically you get a great AV / Anti-malware ETC, and a Firewall that gives you great control, similar to Zone alarm, or the popular 3rd party add-ons to Windows firewall.

To buy it online from AhnLab you need a Korean credit card or back account.

Okay, you can buy it online using PayPal or a non Korean credit card from Gmarket. You can even order in English, without having to use Google for translation. However, you are buying the retail box rather than a digital download, so you have to pay for shipping from Korea.

Thanks Roger. It was only $35.00, including shipping... Normal price is over 30 bucks, so its like getting free shipping, should be here in 2 weeks.

Very impressive features. So it does has behavior-based HIPS and anti-IP/MAC/ARP spoofing, protection against malicious websites, phishing sites etc But no mention of protection against advanced threats i.e. having ATP.

I need some info on the product

1) Does it protects when offline?
2) It has a 'Scan USB flash drive' but does it auto-scan when a USB device is inserted?
3) How long does it takes to Full scan a drive?
4) Any SSL/HTTPS traffic filtering?
5) Any protection against PUP/PUA/PUM/PUS?
6) Any protection against exploit/scripts/bonet?
7) Any webcam protection?
8) Any protection against bootkits i.e. malware inside firmware?
