Looks like installing Immunet, at least v5 would not be smart at this point in time.

Well on that pack and the links it didn't performed that bad. It's actually above my expectations for Immunet. And about that ransomware, as you said it's a really fresh sample and much others would fail too.

I agree, Immunet is always characterized to have a decent detection, and with regard to the ransomware as @kev216 and you say, the new variants are a headache for many top-level vendors.

Yes, on that virustotal result. that was VERY few antivirus detected it...

Absolutely!
Have seen Dr. Web beaten by a sample of exactly that family (stock settings) by the last weekend.
Comodo would be beaten easily without sandbox too, I'm convinced.
