I have been on the Internet a few years now but not the Tech Savvy guy. I am into Internet Marketing and have been visiting a number of websites, normally referred by one site you join.
I was using the Kaspersky but when it expired, I went over to the AVG (Free Version). My computer is infected, is slow, redirects to other browsers and different websites that I never allowed access to, has certain words underlined in green and when the mouse hovers over it, a pop-up advert appears and redirects without even clicking.
Does anyone have a suggestion on what removal tool I can use safely? I have heard from several people without knowing their level of expertise, that I should be careful in selecting a certain removal tool as some programs are infected. How true this is I don't know and this is the reason I joined this site, to learn more about malware, malware removal and all it entails.
