IObit Protected Folder PRO is a security and privacy software which protects important files and folders in your PC by locking them with a strong encrypted password. An ideal software for protecting your data against theft and eyes that always want to access your system.
IObit Protected Folder is a simple to use software, it comes with both free and pro version, the free version can only be used 20 times, how ever the pro version doesn’t have any limitations. The program is fairly easy to use, upon opening the program for the first time, it will ask for a password to be setup which will later be used to access the password protected folders.
IObit Protected Folder allows file addition via both dragndrop and selecting through builtin explorer. Simply drag the folder/file you that needs to be locked in the program. Once added, main screen will show the file location and a green status saying “locked” Now after this point, the folder/file will disappear from that location and will be hidden only in IObit Protected Folder.
The file/folder can now only be accessed through the IObit Protected Folder, you can view complete files and open the files via IObit Protected Folder. If you want to remove the protection from the file, simply select the file and click on unlock button, the file will be now be no more password protected.
IObit Protected Folder is a great privacy program which protects your files and folders, a simple and easy to use program which doesn’t uses much of system resources. Definitely recommended to those who share their computer with other people an don’t want them messing around with their data.

Haven't all the malware gurus told us to ditch iboit? Jw why expose the community to SW that could potentially harm their computer? Sorry didn't mean to put you out there I appreciate all give-aways :D
Just not a fan of iobit myself and I've read so many bad reviews on here and other forums.

IObit was questionable as a software vendor ever since they illegally used the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware signatures for their "Malware Fighter" product.
Although they indirectly admitted it and then removed the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware signatures, the IObit software are still generally regarded as suspicious and/or questionable.
Overall, IObit has proven to be a rather untrustworthy company.

Their Uninstaller is okay, rest of IObit products raise some concerns(esp ASC and malware fighter), as far as this giveaway goes, I don't see a lot of difference between this and Wise Folder Hide which is free and regularly updated.

These are giveaways that are posted from other sources than MalwareTips. It is a general giveaway section and as long as the giveaways posted follow the guidelines for this forum then they can be posted. If a user has questions or concerns about a software giveaway that is posted here they may contact a staff or trusted member. Not every self proclaimed expert is an expert however staff & trusted members can point you in the right direction and if we cannot answer your concerns we can give you someone who can.
As for IObit they do offer a good program in their Uninstaller as far as the others it is really up to the user.Personally I don't care for any of the all in one system utilities and as far as Malware Fighter,it has been proven to not do very well in tests.
Like many software companies some offer some decent programs and some not so good.
I think the bottom line is not matter what company is offering software for a giveaway or purchase before installing anything you should research it and get some feedback before you use it on your PC. A more experienced user can test it in a VM.
