Is Advanced Systemcare 7.3 Pro version worth the money?

Product name
Advanced Systemcare 7.3 Pro
Pros
  • Looks like it scans and fixes a lot!
CONS
Not sure it is really fixing anything. I have the Pro version and have used it to scan up to 4 times in a row, but stayed off the internet to see what would happen. Each time it said there were privacy issues or internet problems as well as other issues. I would do another scan, it found many more problems, I tell it to fix them then repeat the process but do not go back on line. It then shows I have a bunch of new problems I fix and repeat to only find new problems. The fifth time it was clear!
BOTTOM LINE
Is it making up issues to be fixed! Web pages still take too long to open. Have to stop the loading then reload it to see the pages in a reasonable time frame. Makes me wonder if it is just a scam!

I would council you to stay away from such programs like ASC or TuneUp. What they are doing isn't needed at all, and there is a chance to break something. I have never used them and I do not see need to do it.
If anyone knows about these snake oil programs Mr. TwinHeadedEagle does. I agree with him 100%.
Just keep using them and sooner or later you will have to restore your OS.
FYI TwinHeadedEagle is MT's malware fighter and he's the best I have ever seen. IObit doesn't have a very high;) rating here on MT.

View attachment 21082 This is a pic of the items scanned each time you use ASC 7.3 They all look like they are things we should do and should be able to do if we do not have an application like this. However, people like me do not have the expertise to do it without a program like ASC 7.3 So, what do we do instead? I ran the program yesterday and it was loaded with all kinds of issues and stability was listed as bad. I did it again today and this is what I had. It definitely looks like I need something to protect my computer. I do not visit porno illegal download sites. View attachment 21083

You might want to uncheck "registry errors" and "malware threats"before running this again.

The registry is something not to be tampered with and malware detection should be left to your antivirus and auxilluary security software such as Malwarebytes,Hitman Pro and the like.

Out of interest what were the two malware detections ?
