Some peoples still using it but MBAM free version takes it place.
SpywareBlaster is a totally different type of product compared to MBAM.

SpywareBlaster blocks spyware and ad tracking cookies, active x controls on IE, adds restricted site list to IE and script protection on Google Chrome. It allows you to create System Snapshots and restore them, and offers other browser related tools.

Yes I still use SpywareBlaster, it doesn't cause various issues that I have experienced from Ghostery and other browser extensions.

Thanks. :D

So it's still kept up to date :p, thinking about getting it again. I rarely use IE, think it's compatible with opera?

But i think it's really not needed since if a user use MBAM. MBAM can also detects spyware .Some security addons in browser is nuff for preventing cookies, scripts. If a user creates backup schedule 2-3 days a week, i think it's system snapshots didn't required. Plus in youtube i didn't see any new reviews of spyware blaster, mostly are 1,2,4 yrs old review. I think mostly peoples don't have any interest on it. Also when i tried to open it's website it says " the webpage is not available" but tried with proxy & it's page opened.

It says it's protect against thousands of spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, malware, and other potentially unwanted programs which is main feature of spyware blaster. MBAM also protects u from spyware, adware, dialers, malware, PUP ( don't sure about browser hijackers) . it says it provides protection for
Internet Explorer
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox
Netscape
Seamonkey
Pale Moon
K-Meleon
and browsers that use the IE engine, including:
AOL web browser
Avant Browser
Slim Browser
Maxthon (formerly MyIE2)
Crazy Browser
GreenBrowser
( sorry if i missed any, proxy not showing me it's page correctly :p ) Opera is not listed here. I dunno which engine opera uses.

That's good protection against tracking. customize ur browser settings & extensions but sure don't bloat ur browser with too much unnecessary addons. u can use cookie extension to block unwanted tracking cookies, like i use vanilla cookie manage in chrome. Disconnect is good & provides protection against 2000+ tracking sites.

I heard it too. U can try spware blaster & see if it fulfill ur needs.u r welcome :D

That's pretty good but remember cookie can trace u even u clean ur browser cookies after u closed ur browser. So before closing any website, " mouse hover in vanilla cookie manager icon & hit " clear unwanted cookies " & u done.

Edit : i think it shows list of sites who protected their own cookies. Not sure! I didn't see any cookies on " protected cookies " list from when i using it, so can't tell u much about it.
