Hacking was evolved as the modern technology came so its clearly to called as Golden Age of hacking.

Hacking has been around for years. But its only gotten worse with the technology we are presented with today. The motive for hackers now is money in most cases. Thats why you see a lot of banks and/or credit card companies getting hacked.

Or with Anon and lulzsec its to make a point and a name fore themselves. Anon want to get press attention for their cause (freedom of speech and expression on the internet).
