Hey and that's totally fair. I guess we just have different experiences and that's totally cool. I do agree though that there are some things MS can do to make WD's performance even better

By just implementing "scan-on-execution" it would be a big improvement .

I've always figured it'd be extremely easy for any AV company to game performance results. It's not like there are thousands of benchmarking utilities out there. You could just have the program detect when one of these things is running and have it scale back protection features while it's running.

It doesn't matter if you have a high end PC or a basic one WD will always make it way slower.
