Basically you should say that you have a backup since your Chromebook is fully synced with your Google account
How often is everything backed up? Every time I make a change in the account?

Anyone know of any reputable on demand scanners or Privacy Cleaners/System Optimization for Chrome OS?

Added click and clean very useful! Removed adblock isn't really my cup of tea. ;)

Remove AdBlock, here are some of your posts.

Stable Release - AdBlock Browser for Android and iOS
Malvertising On The Pirate Bay Drops Ransomware
Blocking Ad-Blockers May Be Illegal in the EU Thanks to the Cookie Law

Search the Chrome Web Store using keywords, check if compatible and install.

Can you please remove the links of these posts or at least the first one. I feel like I have had a little bit of a target on my back. I am sorry if at any point I did seem offensive. I just wish not for youtube and other sites to become mandatory subscription. The first link I have deleted all my posts.

Thank you.

It wasn't a targeted response, but more about you saying Why You Shouldn't Use Ad-Blockers.

Chrome OS is more secure and safer than Windows, especially since you cannot execute Not-A-Virus.EXE files.

Be aware that Phishing scams, Social Engineering and hacked aites affect all users, regardless of their OS.

It's nice to see another Chrome OS user in this forum, ha ha.

I have also just upgraded to version 50 and it's looking good right now.

How about trying Bitdefender Traffic light extension?

I've seen it in some of the config around here. :D

UPDATE changed my search engine from Google to Goodsearch
Goodsearch is a site where every search you make it gives a penny to the cause of your choice. Hopefully my security or speed of the chromebook won't be affected. :)
Removed Click & Clean seemed like a good concept but I would just have to go to settings to remove everything. No need for extension. :)

UPDATE: Changed back to Google had been having internet issues maybe going back to default would be a good idea.

Updated to 50.0.2661.103 from 50.0.2661.91. Normally Chrome OS checks for updates automatically but the last few times I have manually checked and installed this updates. Why are they not appearing normally? I do not believe I am using a developer version.

Hmm, not sure what happened to your chromebook but I've just received my update automatically yesterday.

Perhaps a powerwash or a reset might help? Might be a issue with extension?
