Hello Meatbags!

Just bought an Acer Predator Helios 300 laptop. It's being shipped so this is all my proposed security configuration. Would love some input/insight into this so when it arrives I can have it on the best possible foot!

@JHomes:

You may set UAC to Always Notify.

In Photos and Documents Backup , consider also cloud services.

In Virus and Malware Removal Tools, You may add EmsiSoft Emergengy Kit.

Please kindly reflect Your changes editing Your config, and announcing them here, thanks for sharing :)

Thought of configuring your Kaspersky product? I'm not saying it's "weak" in default, but it's barely a 10% of what it could be for the price you're paying.

Check this guide: RoboMan's Light Kaspersky Settings

In my opinion, the most important module of KIS is Application Control, and in default settings it's kind of useless.
