I think Comodo and KIS are an overkill. You don't need both so i would suggest to remove Comodo. I would also put UAC at max to serve a purpose because at default level it doesn't really do much.
Also i suggest you upgrade to creators update.

Agreed, but if he is not running resource intense software like AAA game titles, or video or photo imaging software,
he may not notice the resource usage of a heavy config like this.
It does look pretty secure, just a bit heavy for my tastes.
Thanks for sharing @JHomes ;)

I would add HTTPS Everywhere.

How did you get infected?

Thanks for sharing.

Wife downloaded an attachment, it was WannaCry. I was able to restore the machine but this had me thinking I should have a Firewall.

Yeah I tend to be a bit paranoid lol

You dont need CF, you have KIS. You can replace CF with:
Immunet or Crystal Security or VoodooShield(free products)
or with a paid one(ZAM, MalwareBytes, EAM).

Thanks for the recommendations. I really enjoy KIS, and for the longest time I didn't think I needed CF but a lot of people recommended it and I got it at a decent price.
