Just Got eScan, and I Love it. Plus my comparison.

eScan IS...It's a little bit old school, and new, all mixed together. No slowdowns even though it has a robust firewall. Things seems to be very quick and responsive.

Maybe even faster than Eset, and Kaspersky.

Definitely faster than Emsisoft IS.

I also tried the newest Avast, and it made the internet very slow.

Tried the newest Zonealarm IS and man PC just came to a crawl. (And my PC is "BUILT").

eScan isn't bad. Thing is if you know the basics and use your brain, most AV's will be enough for you

Escan is good, but UI sucks and tray icon as well

No problems I like the look, kinda reminds me when you got a program that was a complete security package without the slow downs...
I think it is very nice, and I have tried almost all of the current IS suites.
