CANADIAN BEDROOM DOORSLAMMER and teenage pop music star Justin Bieber faces deportation from the US if an online petition is approved.
The petition was placed online after the singer allegedly acted like a spoiled teenager and displayed anti-social behaviour.
It was put on the White House website and quickly gathered more than the 100,000 signatures that online petitions need for presidential consideration.
"We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture. We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive, and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked," it read.
"He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation's youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society."
The petition went live on 23 January and easily made its 100,000. It now stands at around a quarter of a million signatures. We do not yet know which way the US administration will go on this, but we suspect that young Bieber does not have to put away his Lego, bottles of fizzy pop and racing cars just yet.
This will not be the first time that this US administration has ignored the whims of its citizens, and previously it rejected a request to build a functioning Star Wars Death Star.
It also raised the threshold for consideration to 100,000 signatures as a way of avoiding bothersome petitions. Previously the trigger level, which applied to the Death Star petition, was only 25,000 signatures.
