Well this looked a promising giveaway for the excellent kaspersky antivirus until i saw the nightmare ritual you have to go through to get it up and running.

I will pass on this one and wait until a simple download and install giveaway appears.

I will have to agree with Amiga500, that is one hell of a process to get 1 year free. Thanks anyway for the share.

i already follow step by step your instruction, but when i install the kaspersky it still trial 30 days, the key already place in progam data, i tried to replace again the cbi.dll but it denied, i try to change the permission but always failed. i use windows 8. can you help me?

Go to “Folder and Search options” > then select ‘View’ tab and select “Show hidden files, folders or drives”
use 7-zip for extracting files during this tutorial session
1. Extract KAV13014190_ROG.zip
2. Go to KAV13014190_ROG folder
3. Extract KAV13.0.1.4190_ROG.exe
4. Go to KAV13.0.1.4190_ROG folder
5. Extract kavkis.msi file
6. Open kavkis folder and copy cbi.dll file to following folder:
You need to create folder according to your system architecture and copy
32 bit: C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013
64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013
7. Now back to KAV13.0.1.4190_ROG folder
8. Extract kavkis.cab file and go to kavkis folder again
9. Copy and paste _1AA7CD13.key to following folder
You need to create folders under Programdata C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP13\Data
Make sure cbi.dll and _1AA7CD13.key are in their exact location.
Now install Kaspersky Antivirus 2013 as regular installation

The trial reset for KIS. This is a copy paste from another forum that I visit, the writer said that s/he tested it on win7 64 bit os.
Here it is-

Open Notepad++ or any other Editor you are prefer too, copy the text and save it for example as "kisx64trialreset.reg" (or whatever you want to name it, make sure it's a .reg file).

Please use safe mode
For 64 bit systems:

Guys, you need to do exactly what is written above, also check the video that Petrovic posted and mine comment above that video.

There is a different key in every installer (I suppose). Don't really know if I share a extracted key would help anyone if you don't create those folders mentioned in my explanation. So just follow the instructions and let me now if it is working...
