App Review Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 Final Test (MalwareDoctor)

It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.

Thank you for your test... GREAT !

I tested it with a malwares pack and I found it was slow in the treatment of malwares...
We don't see the treatment of the malware pack in your video, did you think it was very slow?

No I did not find it was slow, rather I felt it was pretty fast.

kav/kis 2014 still not at final stage. its still beta!

as for slow deletion of malware, settings>box icon top-right>compatibility>"advance disinfection technology" checkbox. enabling this slows down your whole computer when deleting malware since it tries to find if that file had changed anything and tries to revert it back!

The final has been released. MalwareTips announced it 4 days ago.

As for your second concern, not trying to sound arrogant, but it is not my concern. I am going to have to stop you at "enabling this...". Maybe there is a reason Kaspersky does not have this option default? I always test products on default settings to keep it as close to a fair playing field as possible. If you watch any of my reviews I must say "default" and "factory settings" at-least 5 times.

Some products have increased sensitivity options when it comes to detecting malware and have "special features" which a minority of users would explore. But in the end, did it truly make a difference in the outcome for Kaspersky? That's up for you to decide.

The reason and/or concern to my question. I ask is I try to install Kaspersky on my Laptop a couple of days ago. And I could not get it to work right! And yes I know you said "default" and "factory settings" at-least 5 times. And in your other video the same thing. I just was making sure, I did not do something wrong on my end. While
trying to install Kaspersky. Learning from one's mistake's. So to speak!

the second comment was not for you! it was answering "bob974" question.

and im wondering how could anyone announce the new release of a product when the creator itself has not!?
http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showforum=16
see how it is listed under BETA section?
and how the current version discussion lists 2013:
http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showforum=4
not enough? how about the first page of the kasperksy's website:
http://www.kaspersky.com/

they are currecnt testing 4651 build which first was named RC and recently added a testing patch A.
if you follow their beta forum you'll see that 4651 build contains alot of bugs which is yet to be fixed even some minor updating issue and UI bugs.
its unstable enough that you cant install new build on top of the previous one, each time you need to uninstalled the older version first.
