These are my basic configs. For security, I depend on only 2, ESET Smart Security 8 and Windows built-in security policy, example UAC, and BitLocker for my files privacy.

I found that combination of both 3rd party security suite and Windows built-in security policy is enough to let me sleep well albeit constant security threats in the WWW - wild wild web.

Just 2 days ago my flashdrive was infected with NoonLight warm while plugged in into a cybercafe PC, luckily thanks to ESET, it intercepted and cleaned entire flashdrive for me when plugged in into my own laptop and saved all the important files I kept, whew !!

Solid configuration but why not add on demand scanners like Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes? + Add Adblock Plus or Adguard on your browser (Chrome and FF).

Thank you for your suggestion. I did try Hitman Pro sometime ago because my Comodo IS didn't come with PUP and adwares removal capabilty. Now I hv ESS 8 and it does its job of removing PUPs and adwares well, so no more Hitman Pro and Malwarebytes.

I agree with jamescv7 on demand scanner suggestion
Also as NSG001 pointed out HTTPS Everywhere in FF & Chrome. I would also ad ABD+ in FF & uBlock in Chrome

A good config @King Kong, i agree with the above comments about of on demand scanner and add HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock, AdGuard or ADP to Chrome and Firefox. Thanks for sharing your config!
