One thing they are companion AV, which vary on signature based and those developers manage to care of. Cause they changed from time to time its performance, so its highly to observe from test.

Kompas is portable, great detection and lightweight. On my VM i had a problem where XVirus would suck up to 500MB of RAM :eek: . Anyway, i'd go for Kompas ;)
