Is there anything that will just tell you if there is a microsoft update available for your OS and software? Many times, the Windows Update doesn't work right, for various reasons, and you either don't know you have an available update, or you don't know that it is failing to install.

Will KUC recognize the updates I've already hidden? Can I mark updates as ignore/hide in KUC?

When updates are identified, does KUC link to MSFT's info page so I can understand what the update is intended to do?

I'm concerned that KUC will load me up with stuff I have no need for, like telemetry, or this ...

I use Windows Update MiniTool which works fine! I tried more than 4 windows updater but this MiniTool tool is the best for me.
P.s most of these Tools don't Dw updates directly from Microsoft(risky) but mini tool Dw them from Microsoft servers.
