Microsoft is working at full speed on getting the Creators Update ready for an early April release, but while the company remains tight-lipped on information regarding the RTM build, we finally got an early confirmation of a rumor that’s been swirling around the web lately.
Windows 10 build 15063 is Creators Update RTM, and this info is confirmed by Microsoft’s own Windows 10 Update Assistant tool that got leaked earlier today.

Previously, we only knew that the Windows 10 Creators Update RTM build was supposed to be shipped to insiders in mid-March, and while there were indeed rumors that build 15063 might be the one, there was absolutely no hint from Microsoft that this was indeed the case.

“Latest version is 15063”
And yet, the Windows 10 Update Assistant finally confirms that build 15063 is RTM, as its purpose is to help users upgrade to the Creators Update easily. A message displayed when launching the app and showing up after performing a system scan to determine OS version indicates that the Update Assistant, which itself got updated to support the Creators Update, can upgrade systems up to version 15063.

“One of the best features of Windows 10 is that it keeps getting better with every update. This PC is currently not running the latest and most secure version of Windows 10. This PC is running version 14393. The latest version is 15063,” this message reads.

The Windows 10 Update Assistant will be just one of the ways to upgrade to the Creators Update, as Microsoft will also release new ISO images for those who want to perform a clean install, as well as a new version of the Media Creation Tool that will enhance the process of building installation media for this new OS version.

The debut of the operating system is projected to take place on April 11, and an official announcement from Microsoft in this regard is very likely to be published in just a few days.
