I agree with the others, you should'nt risk to test malware on your host. If you look at the malware hub, you can see that document encryption occurs sometimes. (please, have a look to cruelsister1 video on youtube )

UAC to max
Zemana and Malwarebytes to on demand

Why malware testing on your real machine? It is very dangerous.

You can use Shadow Defender or a Virtual Machine (VirtualBox or VMWare).

Add ZAM Free.

Add MalwareBytes.

uBlock Origin is enough.

Add HTTPS Everywhere.
