Hi @LowcyGier !

I would have a look at your periodic scanners and swap things up a bit. Do you have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Premium in real time? If so, that could cause some issues to occur.

Another good alternative would be to look at Norton Power Eraser with the link below - this is free.

Link: NortonLifeLock Rescue Tools

I would also recommend Emsisoft Emergency Kit with the link below - this is free.

Link: Emsisoft | Emergency Kit: Free Portable Malware Scan and Removal

I would choose one or the other as potential different options. Otherwise make sure you don't have real time turned on for MB.

Device backup routine - Manual (maintained by self) -- what is your backup routine? Could you expand upon that. I think its critical to be backing things up on a pretty regular basis.

Thanks for posting!

Regarding your first question: I use Malwarebytes as an on-demand scanner. It doesn't work in real time. The on-demand scanners I have listed are working, so I have included them in the list.

Regarding your second question: I do backups of my most important data regularly and automatically. Other, less important data for me are done regularly, but manually.

Well, the opposite is true. Only original KeePass can use plugins like WindowsHello plugin.
XC is only important for Linux. Under Windows it lack features.

I haven't written anywhere that I use KeePassXC together with Windows Hello.
