I was surfing on Wilders and I found a nice post about making an ad-blocker component for ESET. The page is here:
http://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/5-steps-to-make-an-eset-antibanner-ads-blocker.329745/
Direct Download Link: click here.
Anybody please test if this works!
Instructions:
1. Open ESET and hit the F5 key
2. Go to Web Access Protection >>URL Address Management
3. Download the txt file in Wilders link
4. Choose "Blocked Addresses" from the list in ESET Setup
5. Click the arrow next to "add" and click "From File"
6. Choose the txt file you downloaded
7. Click "Save"
Done!
Update: It doesn't just work with ESET, you can actually use it with any program that uses a blacklist to block websites. Just copy the contents of the txt file and paste them in the custom blacklist section. So you can use this with virtually any Antivirus which allows blacklisting websites.
