not a user of FortiClient but their webpage on first reading suggests to me that the settings you like are not available in free version, but I may misunderstand...

Hi, actually Forticlient is not currently available for free download (from version 7 onwards), but you can still use version 6.xx.

I agree with you, but maybe wait for the next build update (25.3?), to let the initial changes to settle in, and for them to come up with any fixes due to it being so new on a public release level?

I added a minor change after rereading the help files.

Microsoft Defender or an antivirus should complement the setup, but I want to see how the hardening, SmartScreen, and WDAC perform.
