This is my Virtual Machine config in VMware.

Do you have a snapshot of Windows before you installed your software. So that if you are doing virus testing you can revert back to that snapshot and only if your using VMware.

What are you going to be doing in the Virtual Machine?

Well that configuration is ok since the mainly purpose for VM is to testing any products/viruses and etc.
