malware on chrome browser

Hi
My son has malware on his chrome browser - when we uninstall it - it goes away, when we reinstall it comes back!
My son likes using chrome and would like to safely reinstall chrome without the dreaded malware!
Any advice please?
He currently has Kaspersky protection!
Is there a security protection we can install to stop it?
and how can we reinstall chrome free of malware

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
