MalwareBytes MBAE has a proven track record and you don't have to install a whole "Internet Suite" or AV program to use it.
For me this is easy and obvious, I voted MBAE.
PS: MBAE is so small and light on resources that you can run both with no issues. I would run both just to make sure nothing gets through the Avast anti exploit filter.

Had no idea that Avast had any such feature. Looking at the information in front of me, Avast detects exploits, not simply prevents them like most anti-exploits out there. I feel this is a weakness and undiscovered exploits are free to be utilized by a malicious actor. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Malwarebytes Anti-exploit has been known to be very effective and my personal experience was a very positive one. I vote for Malwarebytes.

I've only used both AVAST and MBAE briefly, and seeing as how MBAE was specially designed to combat exploits, naturally I'm inclined to think that it's a little more ahead of the curve in the anti-exploit department to AVAST. However, again, I haven't seen any extensive tests done on MBAE apart from the tests MBAE themselves carried out, so I'm not obliged to say whether or not MBAE stands tall to AVAST with exploits. My vote is quite simply: I don't know.
