As a part of my weekly security checking and system optimizing, i use MalwareBytes (free) to scan my whole system. It usually grabs nothing but since technology and informatics have evolved so much, you can never be sure your network hasn't been compromised or so. No matter how much we know or do, stadistics are never in our side. So, i use MalwareBytes once a week and whenever i feel my system may have been compromised/targeted.

I`m a Webdesigner, so my working PC is my precious tool.So I check as often as I can, but at least every week. Every 2 weeks i make a complete Backup from my Boot SSD.
