Battle Malwarebytes vs Reason Core Security

Which is a good anti-malware option between Malwarebytes and Reason Core Security? Reason Core Security claims to gaurd against bundleware/adware wrappers.............

Malwarebytes as Reason core very slow at scanning seemed to take forever on my machine. I only tried it once in shadow mode and the rebooted.

reason core developed from "unchecky". I prefer to deploy unchecky plus MBAM than reason core alone.

Reason Core may get better over time as most newish software does from a good developer.

Well its a new player and performance isn't yet matured like MBAM though so let it evolved for a matter of time.

But no harm to use them both, since its mentioned adware/possible bundled software then its an advantage as Unchecky is developed.

Reason Core has an unusual feature is the "security package", a module that controls the installation of programs, reporting any attempts to install adware and clearing the check boxes automatically for you.

Reason Core Security has some useful features, but it can be terribly slow scan on your system and the results are not always reliable, with few false positives.

MBA is reliable and mature with a better detection rate.

MBAM has been very good at what it does for a long time, and has my confidence. Haven't used this other alternative myself, so don't have 1st hand experience with it. But others have reported that it still has a ways to go to be on par w/MBAM.

I would not be able to compare the two, as both have Pros and Cons. I would use both Free versions for different reasons.

For pure Anti-Adware installation control, Unchecky is a better solution.

Reason Core Security looks more like Anti-Adware than an Anti-Malware.

I will take a look at Reason Core. Never actually heard of it until I got on this site. Guess it would make a decent on demand scanner? Never have to many of those I guess... Still would have to go with Malwarebytes. Have lifetime license after all.
