the last time my PC got infected was about 1 year ago,
it was a nasty rootkit which i couldn't remove by antiviruses, so i formatted the drive (after a data backup of course)

Last time my pc was infected was in 2008 and I was browsing a myspace page and my Mcafee went nuts and come to find out whatever it was it nuked everything on my external hdd.
