When I try to send an email with a third-party application, I get an error message every time: "MAPI error".
Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful
I verified that Outlook 2013 is my default mail application

My default mail application is Outlook 2013.
Can you help me ?

It looks like you might have a security program that is blocking Outlook from loading the dll that it needs. Just a guess. Try with all security programs disabled, and see what happens.

Sorry for the delay.
I tried to disable my security program but I still have the same issue:(

If the value does not exist, create it: right click in that key to create DWORD value "MaximumAttachmentSize" with "5000" or run this in CMD:

reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Preferences" /v "MaximumAttachmentSize" /t "REG_DWORD" /d "5000" /f

My issue is not with Word, I can sent mail with Word.
Do you think That your code can work for another software ?

After some exchanges with the friendly ChessBase support and some unsuccessful tries, the solution was found, very simple !
There is an Outlook's update...

For most of us long-time MalwareTips forum members, updating software is such an instinctive and basic thing that we didn't even think of suggesting it...
