Mateotis' Configuration

Whew, this config looks pretty outdated. :p I will update it from now on.

Anyways, just removed Bitdefender Internet Security and installed ESET NOD32. :)
ESET NOD32 is at the top of my wish list!:) Additionally, CCleaner is one of my favorite free tools which I use daily! One CCleaner Tip (if you don't already know) is it's "Wipe Disk" feature under "tools". It safely clears only available (so called) clear space which can, in fact, be cluttered with recoverable traces.
Best Decision :D
This just confirms that Santa Claus should include ESET NOD32 for those on his "nice" list!;):p

According to your config you are using VB for testing purpose, Can you test ESET's Advanced Memory Scanner, Disable the Antivirus Modules then run malware samples & see the result.

Instead of FileHippo Update Checker Try Secunia PSI - Official Website
You would love this program.
Does it have a broader range of supported apps or how is it better?

Good idea. I see that the function is enabled by default in the HIPS module. So you mean that I should only leave that checked while testing it?

Yes it have broader range of software, really its far better than FileHippo Update Checker.

Really i am not a tester, so i can't surely tell how can you test a particular module, but i would suggest you to ask Umbra or MalwareDoctor.
But please don't drop this idea of testing Advanced Memory Scanner.

Added WOT to my Chrome plugins. Now it works alongside my other security components Adblock Plus and Ghostery. :)

Removed Advanced SystemCare Pro 7 and all other IOBit products on my computer.

Just read about how they stole Malwarebytes' database and made it look like their own and also blatantly denied the crime. What a failure.

Them stealing the Database was from 2009 mate...

This is 2014 I'm sure IObit has learned from their mistakes.... No one can be perfect & Everyone makes mistakes.

That's true, but still. And either way, I don't even need tuneup utilities other than the good ol' CCleaner. Now that the boot time problem is solved, there are no problems with my PC. :P

CCleaner should be pre-installed on every system that is made.

How did you fix it?

And also, I use Iobit Unlocker to delete protected folders and nothing else Iobit.

It looks abondoned or discontinued product from BD. Its scanning speed and real-time protection is weak IMO.
Maybe you can give Qihoo İS a try. It uses BD and its 2 other engine (1 is cloud,1 is behavior) and light on system.
Agree with you!!!
