Do you think Mathematics is always right?? Think Again ----

Proving any number is equal to any other number
Example 5 = 4

We take the two numbers
5 4
Now multiply both the numbers by 0
5*0 4*0

5*0 = 0 4*0 = 0

From the above two equations we can say that
5*0 = 4*0 ( If right hand sides of two equations are equal then left hand sides are also equal)

Now transfering the Zero from the right side to left side we have
5*0/0 = 4

Then
5*1 - 4
and
5 = 4

So, what do we have. Ha Ha Ha

On seeing your approach, One line popped up in my mind:eek:_O
"your solution is elegant but unfortunately on this particular occasion is ultimately incorrect", and it will be incorrect for every occasion if you divide a zero by a zero. :D because zero-by-zero is N.D. (indeterminate)

nice try but you assumed that 0/0 = 1 which is not true.

Yeah, I know its incorrect, but most people get easily puzzled by it. :D

You must work in the bank. There's things so.

I am thinking of opening a bank myself, it will be unique, whatever money a customer puts in, the balance will remain 0. o_O

Mathemeticians say 0 divided by 0 is infinity or something like that, but is it really true; lets see.

0*0=0, because multiplying nothing by nothing results in nothing, alright.

Then, 0/0 should also be 0, because dividing nothing by nothing results in nothing.

So - 0/0=0

But 0/0 can also be equal to 1, How?

Lets see

._____
0) 0 (1 --------- (0*1=0)
.. 0
...0

So, 0/0= 1

But 0/0 can also be equal to any other number, How?

Lets see

. ____
0) 0 (4 -----------(0*4=0)
.. 0
.. 0

Here, 0/0=4

Funny isn't it.

Now, who invented that ZERO.
