Yes, Malwarebytes Browser Guard offers Advanced Skimmer Protection as a feature. This feature helps protect against credit card skimmers, which are a type of malware that can steal your payment card information during online transactions.

To activate Advanced Skimmer Protection in Malwarebytes Browser Guard, follow these steps:

1. Install Malwarebytes Browser Guard as a plugin on your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
2. Open your web browser and click on the Malwarebytes Browser Guard icon located in your browser toolbar.
3. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the pop-up window.
4. Scroll down to the "Advanced Protection" section and toggle on the "Credit card skimmer protection" option.

Once enabled, Malwarebytes Browser Guard will proactively detect and block any potential credit card skimmers on websites that you visit.

thanks, followed your steps and saw that skimmer protection was enabled, I don't recall enabling it in the past but I might have, or ON may be the default setting. Is ON the default setting for this protection?

Yes, "ON" is the default setting for the Advanced Skimmer Protection feature in Malwarebytes Browser Guard. Therefore, if you do not remember setting it up, it is likely that this setting was enabled by default. However, it is always a good idea to check your settings periodically to ensure that the protection features you require are still enabled.
