Advice Request McAfee Internet Security 2019 needs OSArmor?

If one were to use McAfee Internet Security 2019, do you think it is good enough to use by itself , or should be supplemented with OSA or similar?

Depends on your surfing habits but I think McAfee is fine by itself.

AV suites at default settings are not strong enough against scriptors. That's the whole reason why OSA exists. Yes, you can benefit from OSA.
