McAfee Site Advisor is one of the best (if not the best) free webfilter.
I used it and indeed it is very very good.
To avoid conflicts and browsing slow down better use this with AVs that doesnt have (or have weak) webfilter.
Best AVs for Mcafee site advisor to work with no conflicts at all:
1) Comodo (disable comodo webprotection as it is very weak)
2) Avira free (does not have any active web protection)

DO NOT use McAfee site advisor with W.O.T. at the same time. It will slow down your browsing experience.

Note: McAfee Site advisor will add a start up entry when windows starts.

McAfee Siteadvisor is already a veteran extension that provides very accurate protection, and as the features added it can prevent websites that are dangerous, where way back long time before it just notify only. ;)

After testing i found that it is kinda buggy, and will hang when it's about to detect a malicious program. Mcafee site advisor will "some times not always block page continue the download and block the download its like some downloads can bypass, the web filter but not the detection core of it.
