[QUOTE="plat, post: 873332, member: 74969"] Has anyone tried to put Edge in High Performance mode? I mean, Opera has a "gaming" version of its browser, right? I kind of blundered across this while looking for something else. But you set it via Settings/Gaming/Game Mode/Graphics Settings (under Related Settings)/Add an app. I think "gaming mode" has to be toggled to ON, though but not 100% sure about that. v.1909. In the classic Microsoft style, this option is highly discoverable and findable...NOT. Regardless, I set Edge to "High Performance" but didn't really notice any difference. Certainly the RAM consumption did not decrease as you'd think it should but cpu and gpu usage stayed about the same with a casual test. Oh well. If anyone has any other relevant info, please share it. Edge is already so fast and efficient on here, I don't think this setting is particularly helpful myself.
