You can't get a genuine key for $12. Well it will be a genuine key, but they are being sold illegally.

Cheap licenses will mostly activate and if they don't, usually if you contact the seller they will give you another one. They activate, because they are genuine licenses. But despite that, they are being sold illegally. You can't ever legitimately buy licenses for Microsoft products cheaply, aside from student discounts. One notable exception to this, is that in the EU, a court ruling made it legal to resell OEM licenses. But these cheap used product keys can only legally be used in the EU.

At least in the case of Windows 11, Microsoft lets you upgrade from Windows 10 for free.

I live in the Netherlands and it is indeed the greatest certainty that this is a genuine oem key. The gamersoutletstore , just like emeba where you can buy very cheap avg , Avast and trendmicro , aomei keys are both legitimate stores with a high Trustpilot rating

Gamers Outlet is not a trustworthy seller. Just read some of their one star reviews on TrustPilot. For example:

Illegal retail sale of volume license keys. Antivirus came with less days than paid for, and missing features!! Contacted the Antivirus company (Kaspersky) and verified that Gamers-outlet broke down a multi-device multi-year license and sold it to different users, for yearly dates. When complained, I received refund only for missing days, not missing features. They vindictively blocked access from their site and I cannot see previous orders! Thank God I got backup of keys. ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS. Avoid at all costs.

LOL all those cheap keys stores and game key stores are pretty dodgy. I wouldn't use a legit credit card to buy a key there. Expect phishing email\ after buying from one those places.

Yeah it will activate... But the odds of the keys being purchased or acquired by stolen cards or hacked bank accounts is very very high.

I don't hold it against people from buying cheap keys, money is tight everywhere. So do what you want!
