With the release of the January 2020 security updates, Microsoft has released fixes for 49 vulnerabilities. Of these vulnerabilities, 7 are classified as Critical, 41 as Important, and 1 as Moderate.
One of the 'Critical' vulnerabilities fixed today was discovered by the NSA and could allow attackers to spoof digital certificates or perform man-in-the-middle (MiTM) attacks.

I usually wait a week to DL the updates, but when I came home from work today and saw what was waiting and who was talking about it (Tavis Ormandy et al), I installed it right away. No problems observed with the update so far.

In my main system no problems but for now in one of my VMs I'm getting issues with this update (error 0x80073701 ): KB4528760 still plagued by old errors and unresolved bugs

I installed the update. Simple DNSCrypt not working anymore.

Edit: eeh, i reinstalled DNSCrypt service. everything fine.

I installed the updates without any further issues It's was fast and simple, asked for a reboot. Still everything as smooth as always.
