I use Visual Studio sometimes but what's the point of this?

For giggles.
Can light up the headache inducing task of debugging.

If you are looking for justification beyond that point, i guess it could be seen as an attempt to get people to follow a certain standard in their coding style.
You should also note that it is released through Channel 9, so it's not really sanctioned by Redmond. Channel 9 is where the Visual Studio devs can launch unofficial plug-ins, for example an html5 compliance pack.
