Might & Magic Heroes VI

This might not be everyone's cup of tea but has anyone tried this game?

I played from II to V only. IV was what I call a fiasco in my eyes. V was better. How is VI?

Gameplay improved a lot?

I have read mix reviews online and nearly everyone I know that plays that game did not yet get VI and instead are on other games for now.

Any feedback is appreciated.
