I've no suggestion because I think your setup is complete.
I know ESET as a lightweight, well-coded, and effective product, just the scan is quite slow.

it's a sufficient config for a careful user
if you can do most of your computer tasks in a standard users account, it will increase protection

ESET scans pretty fast once you've finished the initial scan which took almost 3 hours on my machine. It's got a weird behavior wherein it rescans symbolic links instead of just skipping them the second time around, this happens only in the initial scan.

Great config man. ESET should do the job just fine, you won't need any other protection measures.

Just make sure you got one of those handy backup images with Macrium Reflect, so that you can use it to restore your system to its exact state, as it was when you created the backup image. (this is one of the best last-resort measures in the case of a software malfunction or a malware infection)

Swapped out ESET for Avast since my license has expired and I don't see any reason not to use Avast's free solution.
