WD in AV-Comparative indicates that it is very heavy

although recently another user did a free kaspersky bechmark vs WD and there wasn't much difference... Also in AV-TEST the WD performance score is good.
It's a bit frustrating to find different results on each site...
If it helps this graph is my personal experience. Emsisoft has become very heavy, Kaspersky is lighter and Eset is so light that you double check if it's running at all! But personally Trend Micro is a nightmare for gaming. Way too much CPU usage.WD in AV-Comparative indicates that it is very heavy

ESET at defaults offers decent protection. One thing I learnt here at MT is the user is the weakest link. A signature based AV is always a third layer of defense. First and foremost is the user. The second layer of defense is a properly configured back-up. Then comes the AV.I cannot recommend Eset enough. The one thing I don't like about it is that you need a degree in computer science to understand all the settings. Eset really lets you tweak everything if you understand it.
