The following is a guideline for proper forum etiquette. It is a guideline for new as well as established members. This is a list of proper etiquette that is followed by most every forum.
- Read the forum rules & guidelines before posting
- Do not be disrespectful to and or argue with Administrators, Super Moderators & Moderators within the forums
- Respect a staff members decision and if you feel there is a problem then contact them via PM (Conversations)
- Be courteous to new members and don't openly chastise them in the forums.
- Make use of the search option before posting to see if the topic has already been posted
- Do not use the forum to promote products, services or a business
- Use a meaningful Thread title
- Stay on topic and avoid posting off topic replies
- Be civil to staff and your fellow members
- Personal differences should be handled via PM and not in the forums
- Ignore spammers, trolls or those who are disrespectful. Report them instead of engaging them
- Use the established forum language and use correct spelling, grammar and avoid using slang terminology.
- Be concise and do not ramble on when posting
- Do not double and triple post and do not post the same message in multiple forums
- Do not post useless (spam) posts such as lol,thanks,cool,great,your the best,etc. Replies should be made when you have something to contribute to the topic
- Do not use all caps as this is considered SHOUTING
- Do not hijack someone else thread by posting something off topic
- Do not hold a private conversation within a thread
- Be patient and do not post words like important or urgent
- Do not use foul language or making use of * to mask foul language
- Act in a mature friendly manner and help other members when you can
- When replying to a post do not quote more than you have to from another post
- Do not post warez,cracks,licenses,copyrighted material or discuss illegal downloading of software.Do not ask for these within the forums
- Have a sense of humor but at the same time watch your humor.The forum consists of members from all backgrounds,nationalities,religions and age groups
- Do not post any personal information within the forums
- Keep signatures to a minimum.Huge annoying signatures will be removed by staff
- Signatures and avatars should be in good taste and not offensive
